Well, this plays very nicely into the third pillar from the book, which is this idea of declared goals. So as soon as you declare a goal, you are, of course, creating a deadline. I think that the general concept of goal setting is that it's a bit mundane, it's a bit boring, it's a bit corporate, it's all about hitting your KPIs. Why is actually declaring a goal publicly so important? Because it gets to the point you made before the loss aversion. as soon as you set a goal and you declare it in some way that it's visible and it's there you've got something to lose and as soon as you've got something to lose you evoke loss aversion without the goal all you've got is potential gain it may happen you don't know what it is without the goal so you kind of go through life maybe something happens when you set a goal suddenly you've got something to lose I'll tell you one goal I didn't realize how declared it was is writing this book You know, as soon as you, that goal, I'm now, I'm out there. You know, the amount of work I've done to get to this podcast, you know what I mean? I've killed myself. Really? Because it's a goal that has to be of a certain quality, you know?
