Don't Tell Alice1:52-3:37
Before we return to tonight's proceedings, permit me a brief recommendation. You see, I spend a great deal of time surrounded by unusual stories of unusual objects. A very small handful linger long after they've ended. Recently, I had the pleasure of encountering one such tale. It's called Don't Tell Alice. From the co-creator of Welcome to Night Vale, and serving as a sequel to Alice Isn't Dead, it follows Keisha, as she once again finds herself traveling the strange highways and forgotten backroads of America. What begins as a search for answers soon becomes something far larger, involving parallel worlds, family tragedy, and consequences that may extend well beyond a single reality. It is thoughtful, unsettling, and wonderfully strange in all the right ways. The sort of story that feels as though it was waiting for you just beyond the next exit. It stars Jessica Nicole and features a beautiful score and sound design by Disparition. You'll find Don't Tell Alice on the Alice Isn't Dead feed wherever you listen to podcasts with ad-free episodes available a week early on Patreon. And if you do decide to visit those lonely roads for yourself, well, do be careful what you discover. And whatever you do, don't tell Alice.
