Rivian on The Rich Roll Podcast

I love the outdoors, but I'll admit, ever since I started driving my Rivian, I find myself making even more time to just hop in and take it to places where I can live real experiences. I was recently able to drive an R2 with RJ Scringe, the founder and CEO of Rivian, and we talked about how this is no accident. How does that idea of how are we creating this completely seamless connection with the outdoors through a car that you know by definition sort of has to seal you off from the outdoors, and how do the design decisions inform that perspective? If you're in this car you should feel like if you want to go somewhere and explore a hike or stay a little later, it's there. It's just again a little nudge to say it's okay to explore, yeah, seek out the unknown. The front trunk has a drain plug in it, and the rear glass dropping in this car is a really nice feature because it allows you to throw a surfboard in the back or you can easily put your gear in the back. So it's just all these little things that are, you know, yes they're features.
