Transcript
And today I'm really proud to say that we're bringing you this episode in partnership with the players of the Postcode Lottery because we went to visit a place called Future, the on-site youth zone in Barking and Dagenham, one of 19 youth zones across the UK, supporting 60,000 young people built specifically for the places that need it most. And we went to Future to find out what these places actually do, but also why they matter more than ever. I want you to hear Steve's story because once you know where he came from, the conversation that follows with Jamie, the man who runs the youth zone, with some incredible teenagers, Olivia and Lily. And can I just say, I've thought about those two a lot since we recorded this episode. You're going to hear from them and they live this reality every single day. So why is this episode important to you? It's important to you because this might not be something that you require in your life, but it's absolutely something that so many young people across the UK need. They need to be seen, they need to be heard, they need to matter. And thanks to the players of the postcode lottery, there are places that make them feel exactly like that. So to start with, let's go meet Stephen.
