The 33rd annual Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival will be held November 11th through the 15th in Harlingen, Texas. The festival hosts speakers, field trips, social events, a photo track trade show, and silent auction, and also some special ABA content. I just wanted to throw that in there, too. On the weekend, the children's program welcomes families and host activities, including a live bird show. That children's program and the trade show are open, free to the public. Registration for the Rio Grande Valley Burning Festival opens August 29th at noon. Go to rgvbf.org to learn more.

The American Birding Podcast is brought to you by the American Birding Association. The ABA is a membership organization, and the best way to support it is to become a member. You will get access to our fantastic magazines. You will get access to all of our online resources like ABA Community and the North American Red Bird Alert. Plus, you get great discounts to our partners like Zeiss Optics, Beauty Books, and OM System. Sometimes some of those discounts cover the entire cost of being a member of the ABA, so... It's worth it just for that. So you can get more information about all the benefits of membership at ava.org slash join.

The American Birding Podcast is brought to you by the American Birding Association. The ABA is, of course, a membership organization, and the best way to support it is to become a member of that organization, of this organization, I suppose I should say. You get access to our fantastic magazines like North American Birds and Birding, all of our online resources like ABA Community and the North American Red Bird Alert, and, of course, discounts to partners like Zeiss Optics, Videobooks, and OM System. Get more information on membership at aba.org slash join. Special shout outs this week to Kendall Crosby of Decatur, Georgia, Patricia Drew of Torrance, California, Sam Parker of Haley, Idaho, and Peter Salva of Rushville, New York, all of whom recently joined the ABA and noted this podcast as a reason for doing so. Thank you so much and welcome to the ABA.
