Hey, it's Janice from Warner Brothers Discovery. I stopped believing in the idea of boredom a long time ago because there's so much to be interested in and every time I walk out my front door I have a million questions about why and how and yeah, just how does the world work, you know? Just the other morning I was walking down the street and I thought to myself, why are the power lines above ground? Wouldn't it be safer if they were below the ground where the wind and storms and falling limbs couldn't get to them? If you two are walking through the world with big curiosity about anything and everything, I've got a great podcast for you. It's called Explain Like I'm Five. In each bite-sized episode, hosts Tim and Kevin answer a single question, like why do sunrise and sunset look different? Why do rubber bands become brittle over time? You know what? They even answered my power line question. Sometimes I want like a little audio snack instead of listening to a half hour or hour long show. And Explain Like I'm Five is just that. The episodes run from about five to eight minutes and Tim and Kevin do a great job of making the answer succinct and clear and approachable. I walk away knowing so much more about the world, but then I have more questions and well, I mean, I can only assume that they're going to answer the questions on the show another time. Take a listen. Explain Like I'm 5 is a podcast where we take the questions you always wanted to ask and talk about them in a way that's easy to understand. We are your hosts, I'm Tim. And I'm Kevin. And we're here to answer those curious questions like why caffeine gives you energy but has zero calories? Or why do some people get mosquito bites more than others? Or one recent one, why is it so hard to run in your dreams? Oh yeah, I had that problem last night. I also really loved our dopamine episode. You know, is it a feel-good drug? Oh yeah. It's not, is it? No, that's right. That's right. It's not. Or how about the one we did on the national debt? Ah, yes, I remember that one, where we asked, who do countries actually owe when they're in debt? Right. So if you're interested in those topics or others, so come listen to us on the Explain Like I'm 5 podcast. That's right. Just search for Explain Like I'm 5 wherever you listen to your podcasts. Go check it out. Search for the letters E-L-I and the number 5 and look for the icon with a blue background. I've become a big fan of Explain Like I'm Five, and I think you're going to enjoy it, too.
