Well friends, you know I'm a big fan of Tailscale and you know what? I could not do anything. I'm serious. Anything without my telnet. I'm here with my good friend Alex Kretchmar from Tailscale. Alex, how do you describe Tailscale versus a VPN? How do you describe Tailscale to someone who's not in the know? Alex: Well, the biggest difference between Tailscale and a traditional VPN is how the traffic flows. When you look at a traditional VPN, the traffic flows through a central hub and then out to your client devices on the back end. With Tailscale, every device makes a connection directly to every other device.
