Do plants fart?
Transcript
Hey, want a good reason to join SmartyPass? Here's one. We just dropped a bonus episode in the SmartyPass feed. It's an all-new Hoax Hunters, the show where Sandin and I look into wild things to see if they're true or not. And this one is about something called the Pokemon Shock, where a cartoon made people feel sick. Experts quickly pinpointed the problem. It had to do with just four seconds in the show where there are these intense flashing lights. Remember that scene we told you about where Pikachu does his attack? In that scene, there were a bunch of colorful lights quickly flashing in the background behind him. Yeah, it's a style of animation called Paka Paka, which weirdly sounds like Pika Pika, but has nothing to do with Pokemon. It existed before the cartoon. Want to find out more? Join SmartyPass and get this and lots of other cool stuff. If you're already a member, just go to your premium feed and find the full episode. It's one of the ways we say thanks for helping to keep Brains On going strong.
