It follows 17-year-old Annie, whose life is turned upside down when she unexpectedly inherits her mysterious grandfather's island in Canada. Add in some romance, family drama, complex female friendships, plot twists, and plenty of intrigue, and you will have a very, very bingeable young adult series. Like every good teenage drama, Sterling Point's ensemble cast perfectly captures the fun and anguish of growing up. There's the tight-knit but tense best friend dynamic between Ramona and Una, very relatable, and two boys from different sides of the island, Ellis and Rory, both vying for Annie's heart.
