Rethinking Waste: Building a Profitable Circular Economy with Tom Szaky
Transcript
Now, I also want to thank Prescott College, my cause partner. This is the institution that I think by now you know I'm working with to receive my PhD in sustainability. I'm in my dissertation phase and will soon be publishing that research through the college and hopefully through a business book. My work is really around the regenerative ethics that should drive corporations of today, tomorrow, next year, and the rest of our lives. So often those ethics get compromised. They get compromised away, like the simple ways in which we think about our waste dreams too. So in some small way, this is all connected. Now, Prescott College has been working to build the regenerative advocates of the future for the last 60 years. They train thinkers and leaders to approach complex systems and problems with both rigor and ethics. And I'm truly proud to be earning my PhD there. Prouder still to support them with a monthly gift as well as the tuition that I have paid them along the way. I give them $60 every single month, just for being in honor of their 60th anniversary. This is in addition to my tuition. Now you can learn more about them by visiting care more, be better.com slash support. I encourage you to make a donation if you can afford to do so.
