Hello, this is Hank Green. When we started Good Store, a lot of people told me it was a terrible idea. I was like, what if we made things that people already buy? And then we sent 100% of the profit to charity and people were like, no, people don't think about charity when they're buying stuff. They just want to buy high quality products. So the first job is find products that are fantastic. Socks that are comfortable and delightful. Soap that feels good and smells good and is good for your skin, even in the driest moment of the Montana winter. Coffee and tea that people keep coming back for and cleaning supplies that work and are better for the world and great to have around your house. And then after all the normal business stuff making products and shipping them and paying the people who do the work, 100% of the profit goes to charity. All those people who told us it was a bad idea, they were just giving us good advice. Good Store customers have now helped donate more than 12 million dollars to charity, not by making a huge life change, but by buying things that they enjoy. And you too can shop at good.store. You just type it into the URL bar, good.store, because everybody deserves a little bit of good.
