Now before we get to the mailbag, I wanna take a moment to tell you a little bit about my book to brand event that is approaching this fall, October 9. I love seeing some of you signed up. And just a reminder, if you are somebody who is sitting on a nonfiction how to book that's rooted in research, your personal life experience, Book to Brand is now in its tenth year, and I think it's lasted this long, a decade, because it's so special. It really is. I find myself standing in that room every time and just taking it all in. I cannot believe the caliber of people that we gather in this room. And when I say caliber, I don't mean PhDs and CEOs. The caliber of people in terms of their ambition, their desire to help and make an impact in the world, their commitment to their work, that's from the people who attend as guests. And then as far as our speakers are concerned, the access that we get to these literary agents, publishers, editors is unmatched. There is not a room anywhere else that I can think of, that I can imagine, that assembles these superstars. And they're not just there to come and talk and leave. They engage. They listen to the guests. They give constructive feedback. It's a shortcut, really, to figuring out how to make your book successful, how to get your book in the right hands, how to shape your book proposal so that it's really speaking the language that these publishers speak, that you're giving them what they want. Look. Getting a book published by a Simon and Schuster or Random House, it is very selective as you can imagine, very difficult. And then when I was first starting out, I didn't know anybody. It took me so long to find the literary agent, and then finally, my first book comes out. Every time I've written a book, I have been so grateful for the people, the relationships that have helped me craft the book, bring it into the world. And this event, Book to Brand, is essentially all of my favorite people who've helped me in one room so that I can pay it forward to the next group of authors.
